Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens is a lighthearted romantic comedy from Indonesia released in 2021. Ali's strict Muslim family does not approve of his involvement in the drag queen world, and Kayla is still reeling from a past relationship that ended badly. As their friendship deepens, they both have to confront their own fears and insecurities to see if their relationship can truly blossom into something the film, the Ratu Ratu Queens are shown putting on elaborate drag performances, wowing audiences with their elaborate costumes, makeup, and dance routines.
